Natasha Skov, living in a house divided
I’m a sleep enthusiast, a new wife, a proud dog mom and a professional experiencer. I’m a proud Univerisity of Oregon graduate (go ducks!) and my husband is an Oregon State graduate (go beavs?). I’m less than enthusiastic living with a rival.
I consider myself a colector of mason jars and anything sentimental. In many cultures, this is referred to as hoarding. Tomato, tomatoe, am I right?
I live in The Dalles, Oregon, a quaint and charming town along the awe-inspiring Columbia River. I’m a seventh generation member of the Martin Family (or so my dad says). I work at my our family owned and operated winery. I enjoy looking at Pinterest for DIY and arts and crafts ideas, riding the wave of inspiration and then quickly crashing with the heavy knowledge that I’m “creatively challenged”. I then head to Etsy to support small business!
The kitchen is my favorite spot and the only place I consider myself creative. And by creative I mean I find recipes, slightly change them and then take all the credit when people love them.
I have a basset hound named Mumford who never listens but is the best cuddler and a border collie named Millie who enjoys chasing shadows and her alone time. I can only talk to them in a baby voice.
I’m married to Riley Skov, an engineer, a methodical wood worker. He is competitive, kind, hard headed and patient. He is a sports enthusiast, especially when it comes to the Seahawks, and is a younger man (gasp!) whose favorite ten days of the year are when he is two years younger than me.
